A kneeling statue of renowned American zoologist Marlin Perkins in a Carthage, Missouri, park. Perkins, who hosted the popular “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” television show from 1963 to 1985, was a Carthage native. Mutual of Omaha is an American insurance company.
