Lot# 900bg, four antique cigarette collector cards
Mostly when you think of an auction featuring seized/ unclaimed properties and government surplus items, you picture coins, sports cards, jewelry and the like.
Sunday’s auction by Washington Surplus Inc. in Richland, WA, certainly has plenty of the above. (There are 2,303 total lots.) They also offer some goods I found surprising.
There’s more Victoria’s Secret than I’ve seen in any one auction, and the high bids at press time are, well, higher than I’d have predicted: $17 for a set of used women’s PJs, for instance.
Apparently, rocks/minerals are seized or unclaimed more frequently than you might imagine. There are multiple gorgeous specimens in this auction.
